Director, Health Informatics and Technology Services - FT Exempt

The Director of Health Informatics and Technology Services (HITS) is responsible for the overall planning, organization and execution of all Information Technology functions including infrastructure and applications.
The position directs all HITS operations to meet customer requirements and establishes policies and systems to support health system strategic goals.
Coordinates activities to ensure information security, data availability and infrastructure services uptime.
Serves in the role of Facility Information Security Officer (FISO) and ensures compliance with IT SOX controls.
The position is responsible for customer service, financial management, regulatory compliance, human resources processes, staff competency, performance improvement, policy/procedure development and compliance, and regular communication with the HITS department staff and health system leadership.
In the execution of job duties, it is the universal expectation that all tasks are performed with a patient centered focus, while also seeking opportunities to continually improve core processes.
Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need, which may include but is not limited to:
holidays, extended shifts, night and/or weekend shifts, standby and/or on-call.

Minimum Education Bachelor's degree:
X Required Master's degree X Preferred Required Minimum Work Experience Five years of experience with healthcare informatics.
Previous management experience within healthcare environment.
Required Skills Familiarity with healthcare information systems to include clinical Applications and working knowledge of Electronic Health Records.
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge and understanding of Meaningful Use and other Quality Initiatives in the evolving healthcare environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
