Vice President for Operations For over 25 years JANSON (a WOSB), has helped customers by bringing affordable, smartly-designed solutions for workplace transformation, strategic communications, and 3D virtual environments.
In support of our growth and strategic expansion efforts, JANSON is seeking a passionate, purposeful, and problem-solving individual to serve as our Vice President for Operations.
This role requires proven management experience and growth performance along with the desire to embrace a culture that is results- driven.
The Vice President for Operations will be vital to both the day-to-day and long-term success of JANSON.
As a mission-focused organization fueled by our commitment to service excellence, our Vice President for Operations must maintain the ability to:
- navigate both federal and DoD contracting requirements, pricing, and opportunities - collaborate with the CEO and leadership team in setting and driving organizational vision and strategy while translating the strategy into actionable steps for growth performance management - implement JANSON's business processes for enhanced mission success.
Required Experience and Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of experience working in operations Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration or a related field (master's degree preferred but not required) Leadership skills Business acumen for the federal and DoD marketspace Critical thinking and problem solving Financial and budget planning Roles and Responsibilities Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operations strategy, and hiring levels Oversee operations management and business operations, which are often used in tandem to ensure that supply chains, marketing, sales, finance, and HR are running smoothly Supervise domain performance management operations planning and execution Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention Ensure compliance with federal, DOD and contractual regulations Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO Assist Sales/BD so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets Develop and implement budgets for various departments and projects Grow and maintain superior relationships with our customers and industry stakeholders Other duties as needed in support of JANSON.
