Our organization is looking for a highly organized and experienced Director of Communications to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive communications strategies, managing website and social media presence, and overseeing the development of internal and external communications in collaboration with the pastors and church administrator.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, excellent writing skills, experience with wordpress, and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Functions:
Maintain online church calendar in collaboration with the church administrator.
Create online publications for website, streaming platforms, and social media.
Prepare worship presentations in through the church's presentation software.
Set up and administer registrations for the church website.
Create announcement and liturgy slides.
Update the church website regularly.
Coordinate Social Media Accounts Manage and oversee the communications budget.
Attend necessary meetings and conferences.
