Temporary Position Flexible Schedule GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK:
Substitutes are needed for various positions throughout the school year.
Job opportunities vary from daily, weekly, and sometimes long-term, as well as the locations and positions available.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL TASKS:
As a substitute, you will fill in for employees who are out.
It is critical that substitutes follow the lesson plans provided and practice effective classroom management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to understand oral and written directions; ability to read and write; ability to work independently; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, students, and the general public.
EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Non-degreed Substitutes ($90/day):
Must have at least a high school diploma Degreed Substitutes ($100/day-$150/day):
Must have a four-year degree Each position has its own education and employment requirements.
