General Public - G Job Duties The Puller Veterans Care Center in Warrenton, Virginia is in search of a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Human Resources to join our All-Star Team! The Puller Veterans Care Center is a state-of-the-art facility, luxury skilled nursing facility that was built to serve our Veterans.

We provide physical healthcare and recreational, spiritual, therapeutic, and social opportunities that contribute to overall physical and mental health.
The purpose of this position is to manage the PVCC Human Resource Program which includes recruitment and selection, hiring and termination process, employee benefits counseling and enrollment, training programs, EWP process, VSDP program, Worker's Compensation, HR policies and procedures and related handbooks and workforce planning.
This position is also responsible for compliance with state and federal regulations, policies and procedures and other mandates related to the human resource program and functions within the Department of Veterans Services.
This position provides reports to management at all levels regarding HR activities, compliance issues and changes in laws, regulations, and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications Completion of post high school educational program in human resource management or business management.
Experience working in the human resource field that involves a variety of human resource functions.
Supervisory experience.
Additional Considerations Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to human resource management and pay practices.
Skilled in computer operations to include multiple software usage including word processing, publishing, spreadsheet applications and presentation software.
Skilled in current training techniques and applications.
