Skilled Nursing Activities Coordinator - Part Time Days - Fauquier Health and Rehab
The Activities Coordinator plans and executes all therapeutic recreation activities. This position assists residents to develop, maintain and participate in all appropriate leisure lifestyles. In the absence of the Director of Activities, the Activities Coordinator will supervise the operations within activities.
- Assists with planning and executing small group or 1:
1 programs designed to meet residents' individual needs. Coordinates birthday parties and other large group social activities. Executes sensory stimulation programs. Prepares and sets up programs. - Motivates residents to participate in planned activities.

The Fauquier Health Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 113-bed center located on the Fauquier Hospital campus, offering nearby access to hospital and physician services. Its proximity to and affiliation with the hospital allow a rare continuity of care not found in other facilities. Services include physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation; long term care and respite services.

Minimum Education
High School Diploma X Preferred Required
Minimum Work Experience
Preferred- 1 year of work experience working in Long Term Care
Required Skills
Driver's License (Required)
Valid Virginia Motor Vehicle Operators License
CNA (Preferred)
Required:
Basic Life Support BLS (may be obtained week of orientation)
First Aid certification (Preferred)
Required:
Must be able to meet Fauquier Health driver's insurance eligibility requirements.
