We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join the Suburban Team in our brand new Warrenton, VA office! In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, we offer a team atmosphere and the opportunity for individual growth and advancement.
Responsibilities Act as the lead designer in the preparation, organization, and submission of drawings to the appropriate jurisdiction Produce technically sound product to client specifications on time and within budget Manage the development of contract documents that understand the scope of work for each project Ensure quality control, including QC checklists Assist the Project Manager and other team members to ensure the project remains on task and within the scope of work Required Experience Four (4) or more years of civil engineering design and/or construction management experience Technical proficiency in all aspects of civil engineering including:
Roadways and streets Grading SWM/BMP Erosion and sediment control Storm sewers Sanitation Water design Knowledge of industry standards and requirements Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3d, Hec Ras, Pond Pack, and MS Office Suite (MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook) Excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred Experience Be active in the engineering/planning community.
Attend and participate in organizational meetings/committees of SAME, ASCE, ACEC, DBIA or other industry related groups.
Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required EIT required PE in Virginia, Maryland, or DC preferred but not required christopher consultants, ltd.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
