System Requirements Engineer

Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking an experienced System Requirements Engineer to support efforts requiring full System Engineering lifecycle expertise for complex real-time system.
The position is located in Herndon, VA.
The successful candidate will need to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, and must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaborate with several types of engineering disciplines to execute tasks on-quality and on-time.
Must possess good communication skills, both oral and written; technical leadership skills desired.
Experience in leading and conducting Technical Reviews and Technical Exchange Meetings in efforts to support product development is desired; prior systems engineering experience is required.
Experience in working with customers to develop technical roadmaps and business strategies is desired.
The ability to work across a broad spectrum of disciplines including optics, RF engineering, communications and satellite design/operation at a technical level sufficient to translate customer needs into clear, actionable requirements and interface specifications.
Some travel may be required.
Position
Responsibilities:
Collaborate across multiple disciplines to achieve critical program milestones Perform process engineering and continuous improvement activities Analysis of risks, issues, and opportunities Requirement Analysis of impacts to proposed design solutions Testing and validation to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements Develop a requirement verification traceability matrix (RVTM) and verify requirements Update and maintain requirement specifications Interface with customers and leaders, requiring evaluation of customer needs and action item status Use agile methodology to complete and track assigned System Engineering tasks Support and brief at Technical Reviews (SRR, PDR, TRR and CDR) and Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) Familiarization with IAW Program security policies, processes and procedures Review and provide input to change management documents (CRs, ICR, SCRs) General understanding of System Engineering lifecycle This position requires an active US Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required).
(A US Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Offer is contingent upon program access and clearance verification pre-start.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science Degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry More than 1 year of experience with systems engineering principles TS Clearance MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) More than 1 year experience of developing software requirements Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
DOORS, JIRA experience Typical Education/Experience (management does not have this):
Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry and 5 or more years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (eg PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
